Customer Service is the main after sales interface with our customers with a manned 24 hour response to any issues relating to Repairs, Spare Parts, Warranty and Refrigeration Equipment Service & Maintenance.
George Barker's ethos is that a contractor should not only be responsible for the maintenance of store refrigeration equipment, but the full life cycle operation. The cycle should start at the concept stage of any new store or development. Being a part of the design team, and utilising data feed back from the maintenance of existing stores to ensure that design improvements are highlighted and managed, and not only for the display case and equipment manufacture, but in installation procedures and maintenance regimes.
George Barker are anxious to pursue this "Total responsibility principle" as we are convinced that it is the only way to bring true improvements to equipment operation.
At George Barker we believe that true improvements in equipment performance will only be achieved when the focus is changed from finding resource to repair equipment to preventing equipment failing in the first instance.
This is what drives our service and maintenance business.
Only through the implementation of this continuous improvement loop, though design, manufacture, installation and ongoing service, can we hope to start to move towards zero breakdowns. The focus of any maintenance regime must be the equipment in operation through reduced breakdowns not the speed of repair.
